It is a distinct honor to reflect on our mission and what we do to promote both La Societe, as well as our accomplishments to promote our community. The following are such examples that we are proud to be a part of.
La Societe Ray Clark Passe' Service to Veterans Award
This award is a State level award recognizing those non-military persons who exemplify commitment to our veterans. Sue Shafer, who is employed at the Warren Tribune Chronicle in Warren, Ohio as a Community Event Coordinator is such a person. Submitted in 2023 by Voiture # 1182 for state level competition, Sue was awarded 3rd place in the state competition. Her concern for our local veterans and community stood out to the judging at state level. She accepted this award in Marysville, Ohio at the State Promenade of the Grande du Ohio.

Nurses Training Scholarship
A program of La Societe that started back in 1955 to assure we had enough Nurses to care for our veterans, scholarships are awarded to eligible students completing nurses traing.
Voiture # 1182 located in Trumbull County, Ohio was proud to present a scholarship check to Terri Snyder as she completed her Nurses Training degree from Kent State Campus, Champion, Ohio
