A message from the Chef de Gare
SPRING HAS ARRIVED
As we continue with expectations for 2026/2027 I hope to be able to report on our activities and programs that will reflect the true spirit of this Voiture. We have spoke on membership, but need to turn words into actions. Find a veteran you feel is worthy of an invitation into our Voiture. As we age, and our membership declines, we need to focus on the future of La Societe. Help us to rebuild the strength of 1182. Become involved in it's future. We need your help, each member.
I would like to congratulate our newly elected officers for the 2026/2027 membership year and look forward to working with each one of you to further the programs of La Societe.
Our deepest sympathies to Gayle Juillerat on the death of Voyageur Clarence Johnson. Gayle spent many years caring for Clarence as his life long companion. He had a hard path in life. Rest in peace brother.

This will be an exciting 4th of July this year. 250 years of freedom in America. As you plan your activities this year, be mindful of safety around fireworks, danger of those who oppose our way of life, and keep watch over your loved ones.
