Welcome to 2024

This coming Promenade will be filled with activity.  The swearing in of our new officers, the Calvin Kane memorial ceremony and guests Chef de Gare Rivera and Chef de Train Kronen from the Grande.  Please make every attempt to join us 15 May 2024.

Chef de Gare

John Turner

It  is with deep sadness that I report to you the passing of our Chef de Gare Passe William Conrad. I had the pleasure of Bill's company at Promenade National recently.  Bill was a strong advocate of the Forty and Eight.  After injury at the National Promenade, and upon returning to Howland, Bill was in the hospital, never truly recovered and was transferred to Washington Square Nursing Home where he passed away on 14 October 2023. Bill was a Past Chef de Gare for our Voiture.  Keep his wife Debbie and the family in your thoughts and prayers.

We are extremely proud of our history and past service to the organization by our members.  Please click the link here to view those who have served and now hold the distinct title forever earned as Chef de Gare Passe of Trumbull County Forty and Eight Locale # 1182.  Thank you for your leadership and continued service to the Locale.  I am humbly proud to follow in these footsteps.  Please click the link box below for our Past Chef de Gare's, thank you.

We were honored to have, at our November Promenade, the Chef de Chemin de Fer Frank Kronen and Aide de Camp William Conrad.  Thank you gentlemen for taking time from your hectic schedule to stop in Warren, Ohio.
